Fun!

This book was a treat to read. Dakota's character was smart, funny,successful and real. The way the author developed her and her relationship with our hero, her sister, and her mother were real. The book was easy to read and the pace was fluid. If you want a good read. Pick it up.

Crystal Wilson-Harris has written about exciting and true-to-life characters who move in glamorous circles. The tension between Dakota and her sister and between Dakota and her lover, Pierce, as a result of her emphasis on all things African and African-Amercan and their "whiteization," adds another dimension to the romance aspect of the book.
