There is much to be learned from an apple orchard, and Omar Persaud uses it as his base in "The Apple Orchard". The poetry anthology discusses many subjects such as love, pain, and friendship, and does it in a moving form of verse. "The Apple Orchard" is a solid volume of poetry, highly recommended. "His Test": Hell,//Is a real metaphor!//It is located in the deepest depths/That we are unable to crawl out of.//It is absolute in its ability/to make us know and understand/The nature of suffering//I know hell exists/Because I live in it/And if it didn't?//Then how else could I look forward to heaven?
