Amazing program

I am at an age where I am not easily impressed. I've read so many books and tried so many programs left left me feeling no better or worse than when I started. So, I started following Scott's program with a lot of skepticism. Well, I am now both impressed and amazed. I feel stronger and clearer, and, for the first in a long time, I am hopeful that I can and will feel better and regain my health. It's already happening. As an added bonus, I have lost 9 pounds; pretty amazing for a post menopausal woman. It's a simple program that has flexibilty built in. It takes some effort, but it's worth it. I am so grateful to Scott for putting this together.

I'm "Normal" and it is working for me

I began what I'll call a mini-cleanse, which amounted to focusing on significantly reducing dairy and processed foods and significantly increasing my water intake and fresh veggie and fruit consumption. And in 3.5 weeks my mood swings have decreased somewhat and I have lost 6 pounds - going from 135 to 129 (I am 5'6" so that's going from a range of size 8/10 down to 6/8). Now, I know that weight loss isn't the thrust of this endeavor, and I didn't have it as a goal when I set out. However, it is a huge victory for me because I've always battled with my weight - especially those darn last 10lbs after having 3 kids!!!! It really resonated with me in your book to do what you can instead of being a slave to it. I can see myself making healthy lifestyle changes instead of succombing to a "fad diet" just to be disappointed when I went back to eating lots of junk! I feel very confident that as I further journey into the food choices, juicing and other suggestions, that I'll continue to see benefits and at an ever faster and more noticeable rate. In summation, I believe that what you are promoting is a wonderful thing. I would consider myself a "regular" person - not a health nut or hippie that likes to eat leaves and berries - and it's working for me.

in hosting my national public television series, 'christina cooks' i meet a lot of people. i have known scott for a few years. we met when we were both teaching about health on a cruise a couple of years ago. i was most struck by his passion and knowledge and his commitment to helping people to get well. this new book, the 28-day cleansing program, will change your life. if you are tired of aches and pains, pills, feeling lethargic and having no way out, give this a try. it is a bit restrictive, but not difficult to do and the recipes are delicious. sure, it is a bit of work, but your health is certainly worth some effort to get it back on track. it's only a month...one short month can take you from heavy and miserable and enslaved to pills...and put you on the path to joyously healthy. and that is worth everything. christina pirello author/host, christina cooks

The Essential Cleansing Book!!!

As an herbalist/nutritional counselor, I often suggest a cleansing program for my clients.
