Wonderful!

I have been seeing a spiritual teacher for over 20 years now, but I wanted a book to challenge me on a set program. The 21-Day Consciousness Cleanse A Breakthrough Program for Connecting with your Soul's Deepest Purpose, by Debbie Ford, does just that. The book is clear and concise; Ford presents complex ideas simply and very clearly. The goal of the book is to help the reader reach their highest potential. "Clearing the past, getting honest about the present and envisioning a future unlike anything you've ever imagined," she writes. Ford isn't recommending we live our live solely inward--if anything, the goal is to seek a balance between our inner and outer worlds. The first section is all about the 21 day program and includes preparation and the necessary tools. The next three sections deal with past, present and future. When we achieve true peace, we also achieve love, compassion and serenity, according to Ford. We detach from past, present and future and live joyfully. If you decide to embark on this worthy program, consider cleansing the body and your home as well as aids in the spiritual journey. I have found, as a designer, that living in a sanctuary helps me on my spiritual journey, as does eating really healthfully. This Guide is Awesome

Gosh, I like Debbie Ford. Just finished watching her DVD set, The Shadow Effect, an Interactive Movie Experience: A Journey from Your Darkest Thought to Your Greatest Dream and was just blown away. Now comes The 21-Day Consciousness Cleanse. Thank You Debbie! Okay, hardly am I through day 2, but (yes I cheated and scanned the pages ahead) I have to say this guide is awesome. In reading some of the other reviews, I'd have to say, "What they said!" I know that our individual power comes from within us as well as the troubles that haunt us. I fully expect that I'll be touched by these guided transformational exercises as much as I was with Judith Orloff's Emotional Freedom: Liberate Yourself from Negative Emotions and Transform Your Life which helped me forgive and release "stuff" I'd been burdened with for many years.

Simple wisdom and structure, profound process

Debbie Ford's work and previous books have always come from a distinctly spiritual perspective, yet one generally tempered with the language and accoutrements of the personal development world. But with the 21-Day Consciousness Cleanse, she steps out of the spiritual shadows, clearly and overtly calling on people to recognize, seek and surrender to the Divine presence that exists in, around and through us all. Ms. Ford is a master at developing and guiding people through transformational processes. This book is another shining example of the depth and effectiveness of her process work, reverently, compassionately and lovingly delivered. With the 21-Day Consciousness Cleanse, she offers us all a simple to follow, three-week process for cleansing our minds and hearts of the toxicity of day to day life in this technology driven, ego saturated, relentlessly negative world. She guides us to reconnect with the phenomenal wisdom and comfort of our souls, while consistently nurturing ourselves emotionally, spiritually and physically. The exercises, tools and day by day structure provide an easy to follow method for opening to and cultivating the ultimate love relationship - that between ourselves and the divine. As Ms. Ford asserts, there's nothing that can compare to that.

Totally transformed my life

I've always been curious about how evolutionary leaders like Debbie Ford experience the divine. And this book really let me into that secret. Reading it, I felt like I could see spirit through her eyes and I entered the same reverence and respect she writes about in the book. What was most unexpected, though, is that I developed my own very personal relationship with a Higher Power, one that gave me the courage to take risks, to let go of the past and to step boldly into my dreams. I've been looking for a long time for a book that will just tell me what to do, and Debbie Ford does just that. But instead of pointing me outside myself, she pointed me inward, toward a source that I had no idea existed. I am so grateful to have read this book and I can say without a doubt it has totally transformed my life.

Debbie does it again

Every time I think it isn't possible to take a complex concept and idea and make it simple and understandable, Debbie Ford writes another book that shakes the foundation of human understanding on that topic. Consciousness has been discussed for years but no one has ever given a simple formula for raising ones consciousness in a structured and planned way. Debbie's books movie's and training programs are changing the way the world looks at transformation and personal development. This book is full of clear internal exercises and tools to raise your vibration and make a huge change in how you see the world and operate in it. I highly recommend this book.
