This book is to honor John Wilcox. When you talk to students from Canandaigua Academy you hear word like great, awesome, amazing, the best, respected, down to earth, wonderful, fantastic, great. But, I think the best words that he would like to be used to describe him would be as a fair and honorable man, a good man, a friend. He could be tough when he had to be but you could always tell he cared He was a mathematics teacher and guidance counselor in Corning from 1956 to 1962 and an assistant principal at Corning East for two years. He was the principal at Liverpool High School from 1964 to 1967 before coming to Canandaigua. Mr. Wilcox was principal of Canandaigua Academy for 19 years and during retirement worked in admissions at St. John Fisher College, as an interim administrator at Red Jacket School and a tutor and substitute teacher for Canandaigua School District. He made a difference, in the best possiable way. Thank You Mr. Wilcox
