Texas Sweetheart #4

You have Becca Sue Ellsworth (store owner) who has been feeling depressed having reached her 30th birthday with not reaching her girlhood dreams of being married and having babies already. You have Colby Flynn (lawyer and former beau) whose office is across the street from Becca's store. Colby is also planning on relocating across the state to join a law firm. Colby comes to Becca's rescue when she was attacked by a burglar in her store late at night (her apartment is upstairs). Colby stays around to be able to help Becca run her store as she is unable to use her hand and has to rely on him to help. Colby also thinks that the burglar was looking for something in particular and might return. Throw in Trouble (Becca's klepto cat) and Tink (an abandoned dog) and you have a good book with some hilarious outcomes. It does throw in some serious shockers though so I can't say it is all predictable.
