Clutter Bug

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This is more than a simple "how to" book. This book is designed to empower the clutter bug in a positive manner. It also encourages the homeowner to analyze inner feelings and past encounters as a means to let go of some of the internal baggage that is feeding the clutter bug. If you are a clutter bug and read this book, take the time to follow through with the journal sections. This is the part that if you will do them, it really will help you to realize that the objects you are clinging to for emotional reasons are really just objects and that by letting go of them, you can still keep or revise the memory to make it something to be embraced instead of something that might bring you pain or conflict. Even if you are not a clutter bug ... read this book just because the "Affirmations" will empower you to be a "better you" on many levels.

I Love Clean House and Mark!

Being a very neat, organized and almost clutter free person (I really am!) I bought this book just because I wanted to read more about Mark because I love what he does on Clean House. The book is very helpful, even to me, as far as organizing and analyzing why we keep "stuff!" He even gives us some insight into his "Ah Ha!" moment and how he started to be clutter free!

Best book ever

This book is the best book I have have ever read. It's enjoyable and inspiration to move forward in life. I have recommended it to several people and I know for a fact that one of them is in desperate need for the help this book can provide and he seems to be very positive that it is working for him and soon will be free of clutter thanks to this wonderful book. I hope another one comes out to follow this great one.

Let go of things and find yourself

Yeah, if you can't stop buying stuff, hoarding stuff, finding free stuff and dragging it home, then you'll want to read this book. It is so true that the clutter is an outward expression of an inward problem. Wanna stop, but can't? Get the book. Already I'm able to "let go" of more than just the clutter and I'm ..sigh...able to breathe again. For the first time in a long time, I have stopped running to the mall to do retail therapy to escape..and I no longer base my identity and sense of self-worth on "Things".
