Telling the dead woman's sister to go home and let the big boys do the investigating doesn't even rattle the woman because she vows to stick with Detective Chevalier like glue until he finds out just who murdered her sister. Molly Laraway was never very close to her sister so she doesn't really understand why she has to find out who murdered Claire. Knowing that she will have no peace until her sister's killer is found, Molly travels to New Orleans and confronts the only man that she has hope in helping her, Alan Chevalier. Used to having her life in order, Molly doesn't realize that in trusting this hardened, street-wise cop, her sedate and ordinary life is about to change. The husband and wife team of Tori Carrington has a winner with Submission. The third book of their Dangerous Liaisons miniseries, Submission also takes place in New Orleans. Full of intrigue, suspense, and just plain steamy sex, Submission will enchant Harlequin Blaze lovers with its sensuality and storyline. heated tense police procedural romance

In the New Orleans French Quarter, homicide detective Alan Chevalier is stunned when he sees Molly Laraway for the first time.. However, Molly explains that she is the fraternal twin of recently murdered Claire, a case he has not solved in the two weeks since they found the beautiful woman's corpse. Molly insists on knowing how well his investigation is going; he insists on her going home back to Toledo, but the obstinate Molly informs him she will be there until her sibling's infamous "Quarter Killer" is caught. Convinced that Molly will hang around amateurishly sleuthing with "Dangerous Liaisons", Alan decides to make her useful in his bed though he also considers using her as bait to lure the culprit out into the open. As they fall in love he begins to doubt the wisdom of using her as a lure though both expect their relationship to end when the killer is caught because both Molly and Alan have commitment issues. SUBMISSION, the third Dangerous Liaisons thriller (see OBSESSION and POSSESSION), is a heated tense police procedural romance starring two flawed individuals struggling with a serial killer and even more with love. The sleuthing is fun though it takes a back seat to the relationship between the lead couple. Fans will enjoy this strong romantic suspense with an odd final twist that no one could anticipate yet the clues were out in the open. Harriet Klausner

The final installment of the Dangerous Liaisons trilogy from Tori Carrington is filled with suspenseful moments as Alan appears to be one step behind Claire's killer. Red herrings are thrown out that not only diverts Alan, but will readers also. Alan feels his blood begin to thrum when he sees Molly for the first time. Yes, she looks just her late sister, but he knows she's different. She's a sweetness that he wants, but one he dare not taste for fear he'll taint her. His past is not pretty, and at times, he acts as though he's spiraling out of control. Molly for her part can't explain what it is about Alan that attracts her, but she'll take him, even if only for one stolen, sensual night. The prose of SUBMISSION is somewhat unusual as it's written in two points of views: Alan's as first person and Molly's as third person. While this may take a couple of chapters to get used to, once you do, I guarantee you'll be riveted as I was to the suspenseful tale as we inch closer to finding out who killed Claire. The reaction between Alan and Molly is emotional. It's as though they've found the missing link from their lives in each other. When the killer is revealed, you'll be as surprised as I was. I applaud Tori Carrington for providing readers with a fascinating story with a hero who's not perfect and a heroine with a tender heart who turns out to be his salvation. New Orleans may be different today than when the books were written, but the memories which are provided are as unforgettable as SUBMISSION is. Grab your copy today.
