Five years after the Ash Winter, Australia really is a paradise of automated cash and polite robot drones. Marcus Weston's job is simple: quietly delete the last few citizens who refuse to be happy. But a meeting with the nation's dying saviour-prophet leaves Marcus with the ultimate hot potato-the key codes to the entire utopian mainframe. The boss wants out, his heavily armed inner circle is losing its mind, and Marcus is expected to take over. But running a perfect society is exhausting. Marcus is about to discover that instead of saving the world again, it might be much easier to let the ex-marketing managers run the government, put the robots on auto, and go find a half-decent double shot cappuccino.
