Exciting!

Since others have summed up the plot so well, I'll just say that this is a real page-turner. It was so full of action and fun and sexiness that I actually forgot I was reading. Very cool idea for a series, and the best thing is that it picks up right where the last series left off. Loved Caleb and Jacqueline, their relationship was very erotic and tender and you could feel how much he cared about her. Great book, highly reccommended!

Another fabulous paranormal series!

I was so happy when I saw Christina Dodd was starting another paranormal series because I loved her last one. And I was rewarded with this book! I like big stories and big romance and this book gave me both. The plot was meaty and the romance was steamy (Think HEROES meets J.R. Ward!). Lots of adventure and kissing! I can't wait for the next book to come out next month and I love that I don't have to wait an entire year for it. Great new series!

Fast paced read

Christina Dodd moves you into and through this book so fast that you find you have read it all in one setting. Its a good set up for a new series but at the end it leaves you wondering about who the bad guys are, will the Wilder women eventually appear and kick butt again; and well, how does young Wilder eventually tie into all this. Will he and his cousins grow into their own series? Good thing the next installment is due in just a couple of weeks. If you can't wait that long just read this one again.

What a great read!

What a great read! It starts off with a bang (be sure to check out that shower scene!) and it doesn't stop...not even at the end since it's set up so well for the next novel, Storm of Shadows. Caleb and Jacqueline are the focus of the love story, of course, and a damn sexy love story it is. But the rest of the novel reads like action-suspense with all of the new Chosen Ones being named and all the disasters that befall them and some really funny tidbits about what it's like to deal with a new group of people and their foibles. Christina Dodd has never failed me, especially in this genre, and I'm so excited to get the next book in less than a month!
