wonderful!!!

I loved this book!!! If you like Dodds books then you will love this one!!!! Full of action with the right amount of romance

Best in Christina Dodd's "Chosen" series so far...

I admit, I was wary of starting the "Chosen" series. I had loved Dodd's previous paranomal series (interconnected to this one, as a matter of fact), "Darkness Chosen" (seriously check it out), but I had loved it SO much that I wasn't sure the new series could hold up. Not only does it hold up, it keeps getting better! The first book was great, but first books tend to need to devote a little more time to backstory of the whole concept of the series, so I get distracted trying to keep a hold of what I should be remembering for future books (and with Christina Dodd I ALWAYS know I'll be reading the subsequent books, because I love her books). The second book started getting really meaty and I was enthralled with the "Chosen" world. And now the third. By chapter two, I didn't want to put it down. I NEEDED to know what happened to John (talk about a delicious Alpha male) and Genesis (a name that still intrigues me, especially in THIS book-world). I appreciate that Genesis didn't just fall all over herself for John (maybe because I would have?), but really maintained her own identity throughout the whole book...and that wasn't much of a guarantee with her backstory of cowtowing to her father's wishes for her. John was immediately my new favorite Dodd hero. He was competing with some stiff competition from J.R. Ward and Karen Marie Moning, my two favorite paranormal romance authors bar-none, in the realm of the hottest Alpha males on the planet. He even went toe-to-toe with Dodd's own "Darkness Chosen" heroes, and they are their own brand of delicious. He drove me nuts, he made me sigh, and he made me fan my face throughout the book--all keys to the best Alpha males. I was heartbroken when they were apart and honestly did a fist pump when they were reunited. (plus...look at that cover!) I can't wait for "Chains of Fire" - it can't come out soon enough. Christina Dodd never manages to disappoint me, and "Chains of Ice" absolutely delighted me.

HEAVEN RETURNS!

I am a VERY picky reader. Christina is one person I ADORE!!! Between her, Christine Feehan, and Larissa Ione, I am never bored. I will drop EVERYTHING (Even another book by Feehan or Ione) to read Dodd! This book is beyond awsome! There are no words for how good this book is. All I have to say is CHAINS OF FIRE GET OUT ALREADY! I WANT TO READ YOU! That or Christina give me chains of fire! I'll give it back! Promise!

Great Book for the 3rd installment of the Chosen ones!

This is the third book for the Chosen ones and although the characters where new it was not hard to follow the story. It answered some questions from the first two books and really has you pulling for the group now. I think this book could be read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading the first two. If you love Christina Dodd you will love this book.

Chains of Ice is a HIT!

This is the third installment of Christina Dodd's new series of "The Chosen Ones". In this book you see the return of a "lost" Chosen and learn the "Chosen Ones" are in more danger then ever before. John Powell is a "Chosen" who has lost his way. He has put himself in exile and has stayed hidden for years after a horrible accident caused the death of 5 Chosen. His story is filled with loss and betrayal. But with loss comes rebirth. Genny Valente has known loss and betrayal as well. But she is also filled will love, laughter and life. John sees her on his mountain and is entranced by her. He cannot escape the pull she has on him. But John can't let the past lie for betrayal lies at every turn. Their story was an emotional rollercoaster. It was filled with ups and downs and twists and turns. I never knew what was going to happen next. I read the book in one sitting - because I found that I couldn't put the book down until I knew how it would end. I LOVED IT! For those of you who are a fan of "The Chosen One's" series - you won't be disappointed!
