Book Overview

Two exes reunite for a make-or-break interview that will either bring them back together ... or drive them apart forever.

Sloane Donavan dreamed of being a rock journalist ever since she posted her first MySpace blog. Now, one journalism degree, a failed internship, and dozens of backstage passes later, she's struggling to land a full-time staff position. So when punk rock's most notorious and elusive frontman offers her his first interview in eight years, Sloane should be jumping at the opportunity--but taking it would mean reconnecting with the only guy she's ever loved (and lost), Dax Nakamura.

Unable to pass up a shot at making her name--and helping Dax clear the reputation that's plagued his--Sloane agrees. It's only a conflict of interest if anyone finds out. But the article Dax wants and the salacious tell-all Sloane's editor is expecting are two completely different stories. And as old feelings resurface, Sloane's journalistic integrity hangs in the balance. This is the career-making piece she's been waiting for, but it comes with a price: the chance to rewrite the ending with her first and only love.

Emotionally Immersive - Audio and Ebook.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Loved it - Buy/ Read Again 💗🌶️- Mild Open Door Spice 💔💖- Second Chance 🧑‍🎤📰- Rockstar - Journalist ❤️‍🩹- Recovery ---------------------- Still Into You by Erin Connor truly rocked my world. From the very beginning, this book fit my personal reading tastes perfectly. I am someone who is drawn into stories where the emotional connection between characters is deeply woven into the plot in this story delivers exactly that the emotional depth throughout the entire book made it feel incredibly personal and real. As the story unfolds, we begin to see that there are unresolved feelings between the characters, and that some tension carries throughout the entire narrative. For me that really connects with one of the strongest patterns in my reading preferences - stories centered around emotional healing and recovery arcs. Watching the characters work through those feelings, grow, and face their past made the story feel meaningful and deeply relatable. One of the things that made this book stand out even more was the dual perspective storytelling. Being able to experience both sides of the relationship allowed me to understand each character's emotions and motivations instead of seeing one side of the story. That balance gives both characters an authentic voice and makes their emotional journeys feel honest and fair. Except I have never had a dual perspective in this way before, so is new and neat. This audiobook experience elevated the story even further. I had never experienced a book quite like this with doing narration before and it created a listening experience I will never forget. For me personally, narration and writing quality matter a great deal. I need to feel engaged cash whether through emotional intensity, feeling fully immersed in the story, or hearing clear distinctions between the characters voices - and this audiobook delivers exactly that. The narration by Sophie Amoss and Teddy Hamilton strengthens the connection to the story in such a powerful way. Their performances make the conflict feel incredibly human and relatable. The characters behavior feels real, and their emotions feel genuine. There were moments where I honestly felt their emotions mirrored as my own in the past. I didn't feel alone well listening - I felt seen and understood. To me, that feels like the true message of this story: no matter what you go through in life, someone out there understands. Someone else has felt the same emotions, face similar struggles, and found their way forward. It reminds you to keep growing, keep being yourself, and never be afraid to love. Always fine someone to lean on, someone to help- be your support. This audiobook format truly brings the story to life. The novel itself is beautiful, but the audio performance adds another layer that makes the entire experience even stronger. Sophie Amoss brings extraordinary emotional depth to the female lead, filling the character with heart, vulnerability, and strength. Teddy Hamilton's warm, husky voice makes it easy to fall just as hard for the male lead as the main character does for the first time, leaving you cheering for the best possible outcome. Together they create the perfect narrating team, working in harmony to bring the characters journey to life and making you root for them every step of the way. They both perform as multiple voices throughout the entire book! It makes me rave about their talent and how different all the voices sound it's incredible how talented these two narrator are. Now some looks are there to help you learn, some are there to entertain you, but every once in awhile a story comes along that makes you feel seen and heard- and for me this one was one of those stories. Still Into You was a story that was deeply emotionally connecting and impacting - like music and lyrics through a song. If you're reading this check out the audiobook as soon as you can I promise you won't deny it.
