Love this introduction to the Clay family

My family was staying in a cabin over the summer. It rained every day so one day we went into town and I found Stay as part of a two book release. I am so glad I picked up this gem. I quickly fell in love with Jefferson and the whole Clay family. The characters have real depth. The cover of this book is a disappointment (luckily it wasn't on the two-book compilation or I would have passed it by). I've read most of the books in the Men of the Double C Ranch and Return to the Double C ranch. Most are excellent. This is one if not the best of the series. A bit long but well worth the read. As soon as I finished it, I went back and re-read parts.

You will not be able to put this book down once you start.

Stay... is Allison Leigh's debut book and what a book. Jefferson is a rugged gorgeous man and Emily has always loved him, their story will tug at your heart. You will have to find a used book now or borrow, as I did, to read the beginnning of what promises to be a marvelous series.

"STAY" IS THE STORY OF THE MIDDLE BROTHER, JEFFERSON CLAY, WHO AFTER SEVERAL YEARS AWAY FROM HIS FAMILY, LEADING A SECRET LIFE THAT LEFT HIS SPIRIT BROKEN, COMES HOME TO BE WITH THE REST OF HIS FAMILY WHEN THEIR FATHER FALLS ILL. WHILE HE IS HOME, HE COMES FACE TO FACE WITH THE GIRL WHO LOVES HIM WITH EVERYTHING SHE IS. THE SAME GIRL HIS FATHER HAD FORBIDDEN HIM TO LOVE.
