Wallis was really a starmaker

Starmaker is a wery well written book with the help of Charles Hingham. He knows the film business, because he was the old time producer who had a lot to say about the film. The list of films he produced is just stupendous. It is difficult to find anyone else with a similar list. He seemed to like everybody except Shirley MacLaine, who did not appreciate what Wallis did for her. One gets a lot of interesting data about making films during his long history as a producer. An enjoyable book!
