Great story line...hard to put down!

The story centers around Jake and Raychel Evans. Raychel is married to Jake's brother John who gets killed in a skiing accident. The three of them grew up together and their families have been close friends for years. Jake feels alot of guilt about his brothers death because of their verbal sparing before the accident and it doesn't help that Raychel is blaming him too. He trys to make amends by helping her with the kids and doing some work around her house but she is not wanting all his caring. He realizes that he has never really lost his feelings for her (the feelings he set aside when she married his brother). The story is their journey through grief, loss, pain, anger and forgivness. The story is filled with other characters, like Caroline, Jakes girlfriend in the beginning of the book. Also you get to know both sets of parents and a couple of quirky friends. By the end of the story you felt as if you knew each person. I fell in love with Jake. What a hero. Strong and Sensitive. Raychel was strong too with a tender heart. I loved the dialog in Spring's Promise. You could read their thoughts, hear their 'silent' prayers. You truly got a full picture. You really don't want to miss this. This a keeper for my shelf. It's one I would read again.

Excellent book, spellbinding!

This book was hard to put down. Well worth the read.
