Their father had been a tyrant and she'd always played the peacekeeper, diverting her father's attention away from her brothers to spare them his wrath. Finally free from her father's smothering attention, she takes a spur of the moment cruise and ends up stranded in Caracas having been robbed of her purse containing her money and her passport. And to her rescue comes Antonio del Ray, a brute of a man who once had the audacity to say she lusted after him. Forced to accept his help, she ends up on his private island and finds herself unable to resist his magnetism. Antonio despises rich pampered blue blood brats, and he sees this as his opportunity to knock Ms. Landon down off her pedestal. But there's something about the way this skinny woman defies him that ignites his passion. What a treat! We've had hints in the previous books of this series that Kyra is unhappy and trying desperately to get her brothers to see that she has dreams and a mind of her own. It was wonderful to see her finally take charge and stand up for herself. Antonio grew up with a huge chip on his shoulder, one that he thought he'd shed. Kyra threatens to take his heart, and out comes the chip and sparks fly! I love the passionate intensity of these two. Very well written and a wonderful wrap up to the series. Spring Bride by Sandra Marton (Large Print Harlequin Series)

Fourth and final book in the Landon's Legacy series: Guardian Groom, An Indecent Proposal, Hollywood Wedding and Spring Bride. This is the story of Kyra Landon, the baby sister of Grant, Cade and Zach. I enjoyed all the books in this series, and this one especially due to the yummy Antonio Rodrigo Cordoba del Rey! It's hard to go wrong with any book written by Sandra Marton, but I think this series is one of her best - I give it five stars and highly recommend you read them all! Description from the book back cover: The legacy Kyra Landon received from her father allowed her to assert her independence after years of being the pampered Landon "princess". But she soon discovered that independence has its own problems. Antonio Rodrigo Cordoba del Rey is willing to help her ... but at a price! He wants to own her, body, heart and soul.
