This story had me laughing out loud!

I read it in bed while trying to keep from laughing so hard I'd wake my husband. Theresa's characters are real people, with real thoughts and insecurities and faults--that's probably why I love them so much. I can never wait for her next story, and then it's over too quickly.

Theresa Weir touches on the insecurities in many of us

Maybe other people in the world never spend hours doubting themselves, or destroying relationships because they can't quite say what they really mean. Or maybe they're just afraid to admit it. As so many times in the past, Theresa Weir has tapped into primal fears and expressed them with love and humor. Both Dylan and Claire are on the run from life and themselves; it's definitely an expression of "Some Kind of Magic" that they find each other. Readers who want perfect heroines and poster quality heroes won't enjoy this book. For the rest of us, it's a cozy read by the winter fire to warm you up from the inside out. It's also an expression of hope for all of us who hope one day to stumble into happily ever after. You have to take the risk of that first step

Another magical book from a brilliant author!

Theresa Weir has been one of my favorite authors for years and SOME KIND OF MAGIC is definitely another winner! Loved the characters, loved the story, read it in a few hours. I especially loved the twists in the hero's backstory. This starts out as a funny thrill-ride of a hostage story and never lets up steam until the last page. (Especially sauna steam! ) I only wish it had been longer so I'd have had more to read.

Wonderful fast read

Typical Weir coupling of two odd ball characters in a similar odd ball setting. Great characters in the h/h and good secondary char development including the dog, story told with witty dialogue and sensitivity.

SOME KIND OF MAGIC is a fabulous read. You'll _love_ it!

I adored this book. Claire Maxfield is such a fun character. She cracked me up. And who wouldn't fall for a guy like Dylan? Theresa Weir just gets better and better.
