Skippy Bear, Jay Kangaroo And The Unique Looking Roly Poly
Skippy Bear and His Good-Luck Overalls
It's Papa Bear's birthday, and Mama Bear is making his favorite treat, blueberry pie. Skippy Bear is excited to help by picking fresh blueberries from the forest, just as he has done before. But there's one problem: Skippy Bear can't find his green good-luck overalls with the patches on the knees, the very overalls he always wears when he goes into the woods.
After searching his room and finding no sign of them, Skippy Bear has to face the forest without his lucky overalls. Wearing his blue pants and red sweater, he bravely heads out to collect the blueberries.
As Skippy Bear makes his way through the woods, he encounters different animals and frightening moments that test his courage. He must stay alert and use his senses to find his way safely home.
When he finally returns with his basket of blueberries, Skippy Bear discovers something much more important than his lucky overalls: he was the one keeping himself safe all along.
A warm and adventurous story about courage, awareness, and self-belief, Skippy Bear and His Good-Luck Overalls encourages young readers to discover that sometimes the confidence we need is already inside us.
