My Back bone

Adrianne has done alot of hard thinking coming up this storyline.So many of our siblings go through initiation but never finalization of their situation.We all somewhere have to take care of someone else responsibilies. This was a great storyline that is never-ending,reality base,we all wants ours comfort of leisure and comfortability sometimes.

Brilliant and funny read

Wow what a ride! had a great time reading this book. Adrianne never fails to add humour with the romance. Good to read bout love amongst the 40 something year olds for a change.

She's Done It Again!

If you have not read any of Ms. Byrd's book this is a great place to start. This story was hilarious! Put together a woman with no clue about babies and a sexy neighbor! Enough said. the baby in the story is adorable. Even though this book is very funny it is also very heart warming and emotional (teared up on a couple of scenes). Also the book has it H-O-T moments. Definite recommendation. Also check out Ms. Byrd's other books.

ANOTHER GREAT STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Garrick and Leila's story was great,they have great chemistry and sparks. The baby on the cover is so beautiful. Garrick was a divorced man, who was recovering from a marriage with his ex- wife career driven Miranda. He meets and falls in love with Leila another career driven woman who is left with her brand new niece by her younger sister. Leila has no idea how you take care of a baby, Garrick has to help her, along the way they fall in love. Both have issues they have to deal with from the past. Leila has to deal with abandonment issues from her parents death that left her, and her sisters scarred, and Garrick has to deal with issues from his marriage with Miranda. Leila and Garrick had a great story, lots of sizzle. I hope all the other Kimani's are great stories, this was my first, even though i have read a lot of arabesque books. The baby made me laugh alot with her antics.

Adrianne Byrd has again given birth, this time to a wonderful, lighthearted, sensual family oriented romance. When super-career woman, Leila Owens founder and CEO of Atlanta Spice is thrust into becoming surrogate mother to her six month old niece Emma she literally hasn't a clue of how to change a diaper let alone take care of this dynamo-bundle of joy. Garrick Grayson, CEO of the architectural firm his father turned over to him is a man who understands life is more than work, he wants a wife and family but knows from his previous marriage that career women often choose the boardroom over the kitchen. Garrick recuses Leila from certain insanity when he by happenstance takes on some of the pressure of her having to adjust to an overly active infant in the house. As Leila begins to depend and trust Garrick's presence in her and Emma's life, she becomes aware of what has been missing from her own. But, Sam's unexpected return threatens to destroy their impromptu family. SHE'S MY BABY is a funny, entertaining and fast paced read. I was caught up from the moment sweet little Emma first drooled on the page. Thank you Ms. Bryd for giving your readers another satisfying trip to happy-ever-after.
