Shattering Soul Ties

The Bible doesn't use the word soul tie, but it speaks of them when it talks about souls being knit together, becoming one flesh, etc. A soul tie, sometimes called emotional or spiritual cording, is an inexplicable, powerful emotional bond to another person. It is a deep-rooted spiritual or emotional connection that develops between two people. When you have a soul tie with another person, your mind, will, and emotions become entangled with those of the other person. You don't function from your own free will; your mind becomes occupied with the thoughts of that person, which then influences your emotions. A soul tie is like a linkage in the spiritual realm, which can bring both beneficial and harmful results.

There is a need to break an unhealthy soul tie after a breakup, the end of a friendship, leaving a workplace, or grieving the loss of a relationship. If you recognize an ungodly soul tie, it's time to pray
