Bright, inviting

My 8-month old son adores this book, always cracking a huge grin when I offer to read it to him. Each shape is first presented simply, in brightly contrasting colors, then incorporated into a more complex picture, showing how shapes are all around us. Highly recommended.

decided not to sell it

I was checking the listings because I had a copy to sell. My 3 year old daughter saw it and loved it! She usually picks a favorite book from every 10 books I give her. This is a favorite. Bright and colorful line drawings encourages looking at different shapes. The simple and uncluttered style makes this very easy to view for little kids. Highly recommended!

LOVE THE SHAPES!

My 15-month old absolutely loves this book. All of the vibrant colors and simple shapes make his eyes light up. Whenever I have a selection of books in front of him, 'Shapes' is the book he always selects. We also enjoy the other books by this same author, especially the fun & scary pop-ups!
