SGT Frog Volume 16

Back Cover: Keroro's lastest and greatest plan to conquer Earth takes a turn for the cunning, the corrupt, and ... the cute?! When gang green transforms itself into a group of adorable little plushy versions of themselves, will those frog fatales finally take the upper webbed hand in the battle for the planet? It may take a friendly game of bowling to ultimately settle the score - just don't be surprised if Keroro ends up in the gutter. The madness and mayhem is enough to make you want to hop and chew gum at the same time. My Review: In the 16th volume of SGT Frog the Keroro Platoon continues trying to take over Earth. As with the other volumes there are 10 short stories in this volume. The first story (as mentioned on the back cover) involves turning Keroro into an adorable plush toy. Next, the winner of a bowling match (with some of the wackiest rules) will decide the fate of earth. Then Kululu's Tree of Gum has some fascinating flavors. As the heat goes up the gang cools down on a giant iceberg. After that, Keroro has finally fixed his KRR-SP Lemon (first seen in SGT Frog volume 15 encounter 124). Fuyuki (occult expert) searches through everyone's photos for ghosts. Keroro has his hands full when Momoka's Mother invades the Keron's underground Fortress. The Hinata family has it tough when Keroro locks himself into the bathroom. Keroro faces a new challenge when standing in line to get a limited edition video game. Finally, it's the Kerons vs the Pokopenians in a game of "Keron the Invader" video game. I rated this volume 5 stars because 1) the stories are spontaneous and fun, 2) the characters are adorable and original, 3) Mine Yoshizaki's art is very expressive and stylized, 4) the layout is easy to read and understand, and 5) I was consistantly laughing through out the volume. I really enjoy reading every volume of SGT Frog and am looking forword to the next volume!
