AWESOME

I really enjoyed this book as I do everyone of her books. It took a week to read it.I hated to put it down and go to work. I am never disappointed for any of her books. She is the only author I read.

Another love...

This was such a good book, and i couldnt put it down. I loved every minute of it. Kate and Tom Harper are happily married when she finds out she is pregnant. Tom is a huge football star, and when the people start giving him crap about his age, he goes bezerk, and ends up shooting himself, leaving him with the mental capacity of a five year old while his pregnant wife has to deal with the rest. She then meets this handsom man, who is great to her son, Trygve, and its just a really great story.Life does have its ups and downs, and its comforting to know how other people would handle it. A must read!

Life Has It's Ups and Downs

I have been reading Ms. Steel's older novels and have not been disappointed yet. Even though I agree that the characters are much the same in each of the novels but the life situation is different in each book. I enjoy reading about successful people and fine living. It gives me a chance to fantasize and dream of being wealthy and how I would be living. The best I can remember, I am in the process of reading my 29th novel by Ms. Steel and plan to read more in time to come.

A book to be cherished, savored and contemplated!

Some have suggested that Ms. Steel's works are "all the same". Not so! I say. Not so, indeed. Ms. Steel, a consumate master of English prose and plotting, explores timeless themes of love, loss and longing. Uninformed readers might think that because Tom and Kate are so similar to so many of Ms. Steel's other characters that the writer's books display a shameful lack of originality. Not so! The themes Danielle Steel so adeptly explores in "Season of Passion" are too big and important for just one book. It takes the close analytical reading of many of Ms. Steel's works for a truly discerning reader to fully comprehend the enormity of her talent and understanding. "Season of Passion" is not "light summer reading". It is not a book to be treated like a booze-fueled fling - taken quickly and then tossed aside with nary another thought. Oh No! This is a book to be cherished, savored and contemplated. THIS is a book for the ages.

Such a great story....

This was one of the first DS books I read, and it got me hooked...that was 10 years ago & I've read 50 of her books since! This is such a sad story...it makes you mad, it hurts your feelings, and it can also make you happy & excited. It has some plot surprises you can't miss.
