James Nugent, known as "Rocky Mountain Jim" was prominent in the early history of Estes Park Colorado, in what became Rocky Mountain National Park. A handsome man, his face was disfigured on one side after being attacked and left for dead by a grizzly bear near Grand Lake Colorado.
