This book shows music from the mid-fifties through the mid-sixties. The table of contents lists the Song Title (Starting with "All Shook Up" by Elvis Presley). The Song Title is in which order the songs are listed. Also listed on the contents page are Recording Artist, Year (of song), and the corresponding page you can find the music on.The music is great. The notes and text are big and clear, the copyright information is all there, and everything seems to be in its right place. The reason I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars is because even though it does label the guitar chords, it doesn't label the strum pattern. That is very frustrating if you don't have the original recording of the song. This happened to me, when I was going to suggest to my friend that he helps me record my version of "I Want to Hold Your Hand" (1964) by the Beatles. Eventually, I will get the original recording. I will record my version after my friend writes the strum pattern down for me. It would also be helpful if the tempo markings showed the exact beats per minute, not just a text description. That's just a minor detail, though.4 out of 5 stars. Recommended.
