The recent outbreak of COVID 19 has posed a significant challenge for all healthcare workers. According to Occupational Safety and Health Administration, dental health care personnel are placed in very high exposure risk category as dentists work in close proximity to the patient's oral cavity. Thus, direct contact with the mucosa during both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures require special care. This book focuses on the various aspects of patient dental care in case of such pandemic disease outbreaks, making the dentist better prepared to provide dental care in the patient's best interest during such outbreaks.
