Very good book to help 4th grade

Spectrum Reading Grade 4

This is one of the better reading books at this level. It is easy to read and teaches the child to refer back to the story with easy to follow questions. Nothing amazing but a really nice tool to supplement a good reading program.

Excellent review book

Another very good review book from the Spectrum series; similar to the Science book in terms of layout, this book is a great aid in testing comprehension, as well as reinforcing vocabulary skills. My son has enjoyed this workbook during the summer as a supplemental activity, and I believe it will provide him a slight edge as he enters 4th grade.

Good for homeschooling

I am using the Spectrum books to homeschool my 1st and 4th graders. They seem to be working very well for us.

Very thorough and entertaining

The book is well-written and the graphics really help keep kids interested. The reading selections are based on a variety of subjects guaranteed to spark the imagination. The review questions also combine other skills such as map reading and library skills.
