The word "rapture" has become part of the church's vocabulary as a promise of escape-a sudden departure from the earth while God destroys His creation.
For generations, the fear of being left behind has been used as a powerful incentive to receive Jesus as a personal Savior.
But what if the rapture was never about escaping the earth?
What if it was always meant to be an encounter with the overwhelming presence of God-an experience of love so complete that doubt and fear are consumed?
"For God so loved the world..." - John 3:16
Love does not abandon its creation.
Love draws us into oneness.
The rapture can be understood as a divine marriage-a union between Christ and His Body, like two becoming one through unconditional love. It is not merely an event waiting for some future day. It is an experience of now, available while we are still living in our natural bodies.
Jesus Christ is the Head.
The Church is the Bride, made up of many members.
Together, we become one Body-joined in the Spirit, united in Christ, and experiencing the reality of Christ all in all.
This is not an escape from the earth.
It is an awakening in the earth.
It is the consuming life of Love and Light being revealed through a people who have awakened to their identity in Christ.
The question is no longer simply, "Will I be raptured?"
The greater question is:
What if I am being drawn into oneness with Christ right now?
What if the rapture is not about leaving this world-
but about becoming fully alive in the One who fills all things?
A love experience.
A marriage.
A union.
A Body.
Christ all in all.
