Great book, great series

My five-year-old has a number of books from this series. He loves them all.

Puzzle World is a collection of 3 of the Puzzle book series by Susannah Leigh: Puzzle Island, Puzzle Town, and Puzzle Farm. Each story tells an adventure while encorporating mazes, puzzles, seek and find, and a number of other interactive games that are suitable for kids ages 3 and up. In Puzzle Island, junior pirate Sam Swashbuckle and his pet parrot Percy are off to find a pirate badge so he can become a real pirate. The badge is hidden on Pirate Island. Sam and Percy need to follow the clues and solve the puzzles to lead him to the badge. There are many hidden objects to spot along the way. In Puzzle Town, Katy and Tim are invited to a party but they can't find their way. As they follow the clues that will lead them to the party, they need to watch out for the balloon thief who is trying to steal all the balloons. In Puzzle Farm, the farmers have gone away, leaving Beth and Harry to get the farm ready for the big Farm Fair. My son is only 3, so some of these puzzles are a little too old for him. But we read these stories together at bed time and have a lot of fun. This is a great book to grow into, and you can read it over and over and spot something new each time. I love to give these puzzle book series as gifts or favors for kids parties.
