A must of hockey lovers!

Puck is a Four Letter Word is an intriguing look into the hockey world, through the eyes of a star National Hockey Leauge player traded to an expansion team. The fictional character, Willie Mulligan, deals with all the problems of a star...love, loss life on the road. Frank Orr creates a realistic character and uses humor to talk about the problems of professional sports. At the same time, Mulligan is a lovable character, just like your favorite hockey player. It is amazing how Orr portrays the problems of free agency and super-star status long before they began as big an issue as they are today. It was hard to put this book down. Anyone who loves reading and hockey must get this book!
