Psychology in Context

The book was in like new condition, despite costing almost half of what a new book would have cost. There was no highlighting, torn pages, or wear anywhere else on the book. It also arrived within a week and a half of when I ordered it, despite choosing regular shipping and the book being listing as being in "good condition". P.S. Sorry for this review being fairly unspecific and brief. I'm a tad too busy and tired at the moment to write really well.

Excellent Introduction to the Field of Psychology

I had this book as a textbook for my intro to psych class. It is a well written text. Unlike most textbooks, it is not dry or boring. This book uses examples for it's concepts, such as Tiger Wood's golf game and Alice in Wonderland. It also has diagrams, definitions, graphs, tables, and mini-experiments to back up and sum up the text. In short, it is set up well for any type of learner. The text covers many areas of psychology, including the history, the brain, sense and perception, consciousness, learning, emotion, and disorders. I would definitely recommend it for a class or an ambitious solo reader.
