This is an excellent commentary on Psalms. Craigie was my go to for the first 50 Psalms. I used Hamilton's as the bridge and it's very good also. This is the first commentary I check after reading the psalm. I also have Longman's commentary as well and it's good. Kidner's book is older aka not recent but an excellent resource and perspective. It spends more time on the meat of the message and less time on chiastic structure and typology. My cover was different than the one displayed here and book is in like new condition. I doubt the former owner read it. Double win for me.
Rich repayment.

Kidner's Tyndale series commentaries on the Psalms (in two volumes) and Proverbs combine even-handed scholarship with devotional insight. They are concise and yet full.
