Entertaining and Funny

I was at first skeptical about this manga since it looked to be another silly yaoi comedy. I always found Yaoi to be better in the angsty, dramatic genre than in the comedies, but this is quite smart and enjoyable. Yuujirou, Mikoto, and Tohru are elected to be "Princesses" in their all boys school to lighten the tension that happens from lack of female company. Being a "Princess" offers certain privileges that help the participant not only pay for their education, but allow them to become successful members of society. The manga is more slashy and fan service than overt yaoi, but that's what makes it charming and so different. The artwork is beautiful and as visually appealing as "FAKE".

Good Old Fashioned Crossdressing fun

Anytime you have the main characters crossdressing it leads to a great time. This is an imaginative romp with boys dressing as girls to give their classmates some touch of feminity in an all boys school. The main characters are sacrastic, funny, mean and entertaining to the end. I adored teh clothes and the relationships are definately intridging. It's not your typical situation or storyline that's for sure. For a fun light hearted romp with no major sexual scenes or overtones, give Princess Princess a try.

Funny

This has got to be my favorite manga!!! This is a five book series and has a sequel called Princess Princess + which is not done in Japan yet (for those of you who like to know how long it's gonna be before you start)!! It also has a 12 episode anime and a 10 episode live action called Princess Princess D. OK, now for the manga itself. It's a comedy about three boys (Kouno, Yuu, and Mikoto) and how they deal with cross-dressing and eachother. This was suposed to be a BL (Boy's Love) but Mikiyo Tsuda decided to just make it a story about friends (so far). But, you can deffinently tell that Kouno and Yuu were the couple and I'm hoping something happens between them (I know it does in the anime)!!! In this volume you just get to know the three main charaters (listed above) and how the school works, volume 2 looks like it's going to be interesting (considering how volume one ended) and I can't wait for it!!! Also, Mikoto is from The Day of Revolution (2 volumes) and Sakamoto is from Family Complex (1 volume, not translated yet). One more side note, Mikiyo Tsuda has another pen name: Taishi Zaou. Nothing has been released under this name in the US yet though... She has also done some co-work with Eiki Eiki. As before, none of these have been released either...

A good laugh

This storyline show the reader what happens when one has an open mind toward new things (and circumstances beyond one's control helps a lot too). I laughed out loud when I read the story. The characters are loveable. The situations are too cute. Lots of openings for many plots and it's perfect for watching the character's growth and developement. Let's see where Mikiyo Tsuda takes the reader in this promising series.
