This is an excellent way to study appropriate ways to pray according to the scriptures and learn how to approach the Lord through his words and remind the Lord of his promises and it stands as a reminder to the reader of what the Lord has made available to us through the Bible and it strengthens our resolve to pray thru and to believe that prayers actually do work when we pray according to God's word.

The book concludes with separate chapters on the prayers of Jesus and also Paul. This book will appeal especially to those who wish to add authority to their prayers.

A wonderful collection to begin with.

I searched high and low for a prayer book that covered such a wide variety of "topics". This is fabulous, helpful and exactly what I have been looking for. I've alredy purchase vol. 2 and on my way for vol. 3. What a nice collection to have and reflect upon.
