Prayers and Lies

Excellent story about generations of secrets and lies. Parts of this book made me laugh and parts made me cry for the very well developed characters. Made me think about the fine line parents draw between protecting children and harming them by keeping secrets.

Unexpectedly Human!

The people in this book will make you laugh, sigh deeply, and love them all the more. It's written in first person and you journey through life with her. Hard to put down.
