Dr. Fletcher, Did a wonderful job on the subject of fasting, this is every believer weapon against the forces of darkness. Great book!!

A very inspirational book

This book is a great book. This book explain the reason behind fasting and praying. Not only that, the author gives some very valid reasons why people stop fasting and praying. He then continue with reasons for praying and fasting. Overall, very important for those who wish to seek God's face. It use the Bible a lot to help us understand.

Jesus did both, why don't we?

This simple, yet profound work by Dr. Fletcher offers the clearest and concise argument as to what is missing in our walk with the Lord. Dr. Fletcher has PhD and a ThD degrees, so he was quite capable of writing a deep and lofty exegisis on the subject. Yet instead he chose to allow God to reveal Himself in simplicity through his writing by allowing a couple of personal experiences with prayer and fasting, as well as the scriptures, speak for themselves on the subject. After reading this book, the truly serious Christian will have no excuse for not praying and fasting. After all, Jesus did both, why don't we?

A must read if you are interested in this subject.

This book is excellent for explaining the necessity of prayer and fasting in our daily spiritual lives. It demonstrates how fasting goes hand in hand with prayer and how we, as a nation, really neglect fasting. This book is definately a must for your library if you are interested in learning more about prayer and fasting.

IN MY BEGINING YEARS OF MY CHRISTIAN WALK I HAD A VERY HARD TIME FASTING FOR GOD, BUT AFTER READING THIS BOOK IT GAVE ME A PURE UNDERSTANDING VEIW OF WHAT PRAYER & FASTING WAS ALL ABOUT. NOT TO MENTION IT SAVED ME FROM FALLING INTO SATANS TRAP THAT HE HAD FOR ME. AFTER READING THE BOOK THE POWER AND ANOINTING OF GOD CAME OVER ME TO GO ON A THREE DAY FAST (NO FOOD OR DRINK) AND GOD REVIELED TO ME THE TRAP THAT SATAN HAD FOR ME.I THANK GOD FOR Dr. K.A.FLETCHER AND THIS POWERFUL BOOK ON FASTING.
