Book is written in a Cult Like style and is full of useless information

This book is far to preachy and cult like it was written badly . It felt like they were rushing a deadline and the quality was horrible . Contains no good advice in relation to Astral Projection

I use to do this

I had this book a long time ago (with a different cover). I practiced these techniques for months and just when I was beginning to get good at it (the Formula of the Watcher), I was visited by someones or somethings that floated into my room. It freaked me out enough to stop my experimentation into magick. Now, I've been thinking of starting again.

Astral Projection from the Western Tradition

I've been reading these negative reviews and find that they are based primarily on a fundamental lack of knowledge and in a couple cases easy solutions to the complexity of this kind of work. One reviewer claims that this book is too "occultish". That's laughable, becuause not many things are more "occult" that trying to force your spirit from your body with the intentions on traveling to other dimensions of reality. Having said this, the book is challenging because it actually asks something of the reader......dedication and commitment to the process. These authors are practicing metaphysicians/magicians for many years and are the head of a magickal order based in England called Aurum Solis (Denning recently passed away).There is a lot of experience between these pages and it can work for you if you work with the techniques within.Namaste

This book did it! I tried Astral Projections using more than a half dozen books and never had any success. But using this book and the techniques in it finally did it for me. It doesn't have as much info as Buhlman's book, but to get things done, this is the book to get.If you want all the info on astral projections, get another book, but if you have never done it and want to get it done, this is the book to get.

Denning and Phillips: Masters of the Art..

Fantastic. Practical "High Magic(k)" instructions on Astral Projection. Quite indepth, covering the bacics and some of the advanced tecniques of the art as well as what to expect, how to boost your energy and a littly protective measures as well.It is a must read for any serious student of the occult, high magick, and astral projection. It is also great for the curious reader.Thank you Melita Denning and Osborn Phillips.
