The StorytellerI am a storyteller of days of old---All weathered and grained, a sight to behold.But to you, I have lessons to impart---If you're willing to listen and take them to heart.Many years I've waited for you to come by...To take my lessons and apply---The wisdom of my plentiful years,To aid in your desires and your fears.While standing here I have learned---That wisdom is a gift, that must be earned.But occasionally, if you're willing to listen---A gift to you will be given.Of lessons learned down through years---That others have earned through their tears;And offer you their lessons --- free!In hopes you'd avoid their tragedy.They will share their joy, of lessons learned---And include the experience, they have earned;That brought them to this special place---To know life is not... just a race;But a series of lessons that must be learned;To ensure your winning as you yearn...To be the very best that you can be;So come close and listen carefully...Yes...
