Podlife began with a sense of humor. Everyday happenings in the pod cell blocks/dorms-took on a comical perspective, simply because of the way people acted, talked, looked, or lacked looks. All of this was, and still is, fodder for my humor and imagination. I wanted to capture the way I saw things.

Podlife is the result.

Born in 2003 in San Antonio's Bexar County Jail, it grew to fit prison and prison life, plus those involved-guards, family, judges, medical people, etc. There can be humor even in tragedy. It's all a matter of perspective.

Look inside-you'll see what I mean. Laughter truly is the best medicine.
