Planella and the Checklist Parade: Turning Big Tasks Into Simple, Step-by-Step Plans

By Maisel McLaula

Inside Cortex Castle, Planella is the grand organizer of ideas. When a big parade of projects arrives all at once, the castle becomes confusing and chaotic. No one knows what to do first.

In Planella and the Checklist Parade, Planella discovers that big plans become easier when they are broken into small steps. With colorful checklists, simple sequences, and a clear path forward, the castle learns how to turn overwhelming tasks into manageable adventures.

Through playful rhyme and imaginative storytelling, children learn that planning is a skill the brain practices, and that checklists can help turn big goals into doable steps.

Plus, every book includes bonus learning material: a Teacher and Parent Guide, kid-friendly explainers, discussion starters, hands-on visual activities, and curated resources, giving grown-ups simple, science-backed ways to keep the learning going long after the last page.
