Flexi and the Changey-Changeroo Day: Learning to Adapt When Things Don't Go as Planned

By Maisel McLaula

Inside Cortex Castle, Flexi is the brain's champion of "Plan B." Flexi helps the brain adjust when things change unexpectedly. But one day the castle's plans twist, flip, and tumble into a full Changey-Changeroo Day.

In Flexi and the Changey-Changeroo Day, Flexi shows the castle that when plans shift, the brain can stretch, adapt, and try a new approach. Instead of getting stuck or frustrated, Flexi helps everyone discover that flexibility makes learning and problem solving easier.

Through playful rhyme and imaginative storytelling, children learn that changing plans is not failure, but simply the brain practicing how to adapt.

Plus, every book includes bonus learning material: a Teacher and Parent Guide, kid-friendly explainers, discussion starters, hands-on visual activities, and curated resources, giving grown-ups simple, science-backed ways to keep the learning going long after the last page.
