Respect All Life Forms

I read Mary Summer Rain's, Pinecones - Autumn Reflections, in the quiet comfort of my Little House on the Prairie and was Touched by an Angel to the Sound of Music my heart sang as my spirit traveled a Sentimental Journey - soaring to new heights of inspiration above the Lillies of the Field near the Highway to Heaven. Mary mentions 'wars' on page (24). Pages in Pinecones are not numbered. If I'm correct, page (1) (Beauty is felt) follows the Author's Preface. I will expand on 'wars'. In the book, "Flags of our Fathers," by James Bradley with Ron Powers, I totally disagree with the line on the Dedication page that reads, "...and all mothers who sent their boys to war." Mothers Do Not send their children to die in war. Governments do. The line should read, "...and all mothers who lost their young sons and daughters to war waged by the world's egotistical governments." Yoshikani Taki is correct in saying, "Mothers should negotiate between nations. The mothers of the fighting countries would (all) agree: Stop this (senseless) killing now. Stop It Now. Many still ask the same question generation after generation, century after century, life span after life span, "When are people going to really understand what war and violence does to people?" When will it End, so we don't Have To. Caring, is an extension of love and Unconditional Love is the one thing that will kill an angry man. War is hell and hate is ugly. Those four useless words should be buried in quicksand, never again to resurface on mother earth. It's a strange philosophy when we have to go to war in order to have peace. This kind of aggressive and dysfunctional mentality passed on from one generation to another makes no 'common' sense when our innocent young are sent off to die in battle and have to sacrifice their individual free-will right and are not able to fulfill their dreams and live a full and prosperous life the way it was intended from the very beginning of time. Freedom has an expensive price tag attached and costs us our young from being 'productive' every time we go off to war. It's not worth losing our young over. There should not be memorials placed around the world. Our young are worth a lot more to us Alive than they are Dead. Freedom is Living Life to its Fullest and Having Purpose and is greater than dying for no cause. Until we all decide to evolve and raise our consciousness to a higher level of spirituality, we will continue to act like barbarians and continue to go to war...and...die. Reviewed by Stephen R. OUTSTANDING

I so loved her sharing all her thoughts from this book, as I have enjoyed every book she's wrote. I have read them all. Her words that I read are what I feel in my heart and in my soul.And I pray everyday that people will change and find love in their hearts and we can change this world. I feel SUCH A STRONG CONNECTION TO MARY SUMMER RAIN. Thank god that my Pychic, Lynda introduced me to her books about 13 or 14 years ago.

Just picked it up and I cant put it down!

I stopped long enough to write a review.In all fairness ,perhaps I should wait until Im done.....But I dont see the need here.It captivated me from page one.This is her most thought provoking book in my opinion.Written in her unique stlye,she just pulls you right in and your turning page after page........I dont want to put the book down ,but I also dont want to end it either !!!I strongly recommend Pincones.Mary Summer Rain once agian demonstrates what a talented writer she is.And then some!
