All the empirical studies review indicate that a lot of work has been done in the filed of family welfare in comparison with the acceptance of female nonterminal family planning methods. The available literature on the latter highlights that there are studies which deal either exclusively with utilization of antenatal care services or with family welfare service. Very few studies are available which have tried to cover the spacing methods and its related issues. The present study therefore makes an attempt to cover the aspects, i.e knowledge and use of family welfare services in terms of non-terminal spacing methods.
