I loved this book I couldn't put it down. It's the story about Colby Lane and the reunion with his exwife Sarina who has a daugther going on seven. Colby is first shock to have the little girl know so much about him & than to find her mother is his exwife Sarina. I love how Ms Palmer brings back characters from older books. It's like visiting old friends and catching up on their lives. It's a passionate, fantastic story that kept me turning the pages untill I got to the end. I don't want to spoil the surprises in the book but it was worth every penny.

"Outsider" Another hit for Diana Palmer!

I found this story to be intriguing. If you have read any of Diana's books that she wrote introducing us to the Mercenaries you would appreciate this one too. The beginning of the story makes you want to read more about this collage of characters and what makes each and everyone of them tick. What is the story behind Colby, the 7 yr. old girl & Sabrina...as well as Rodrigo and so on. I am over 40 and this book give me what I want...a story about a mother trying to make something of herself as well as keep care of her daughter to the best of her ability. The sexy hero who learns about Bernadette and goes from not wanting to know or have anything to do with the child to wanting nothing more then to cuddle her and love her. I know this story will not have let ANYONE down or disappointed Diana's ardent fans. It gives us all what we want....a good old fashion romance with some intrigue thrown in as well as a woman who can handle herself come what may. Keep up the good work Diana and thank you for the work you have done and the work you still have pouring out of your soul.

fantastic book

this is a book that is very exciting. you have everything from action to romance in a 3 hour period when you are reading this book. you just can't put it down. you get to also hear all about the other characters that she has written about. do you ever wonder what happens to some characters? i think it's a fantastic read and i enjoyed every moment. :)
