Practically Perfect!

Connal is a great story, I can't say enough good things about it! Connal (or C.C. as he is known) Tremayne is a wonderful hero who you grow to love with each encounter. Penelope Mathews, Pepi's her nickname, is an equally charming and feisty heroine. From the accidental marriage to meeting C.C.'s brothers, you'll love every bit of this book, and you will laugh all through it. I fell in love with these two and hope you will too. This is also included in Texans at Hearts which has two other stories as well.

¡Muy bueno! ¡Muy romántico! Very good!

This book is actually in Spanish, so I'll try my best to write something about it in Spanish. ¡Lo siento! Mi español es muy malo. Peor. Muy romántico.I really liked this book. It had a typical Diana Palmer flair and I enjoyed the characters. I've tried to follow the stories about all of Connal's brothers as well! I recommend this novel!

HERE IS ANOTHER EXCELLENT ONE! #6

I fell in love with this story because it reminded me of Zane Grey's "Under the Light of the Western Stars" where Madeline was married to "El Capitan" in spanish and didn't realize it until near the end - of course she had to save him his life.Pepi has been sort of mothering C.C. Tremayne for the past three years when he showed up and hired on at her dad's ranch. Penelope Mathews is trying once again to save C.C. from her father's wrath because once a year C.C. goes on a drinking binge, which her father wont tolerate.Pepi is twenty two and has been in love since C.C. first showed up at the ranch. C.C. at 30, looks on Pepi as a tolerable tomboy who is suddenly getting under his skin. When she tracks him down in a Mexican bar, he is drunk as a skunk [grin - don't understand the analogy]and he forces her to marry him. Finally she learns what his initials stand for - Connal Cade Tremayne. Worse, Connal has been keeping company [an affair is implied] with a tall, willowy woman called Edi.Pepi lies when C.C. asks her what happened in Mexico. And when she does admit to the marriage, boy does the fur fly. Connal storms off the ranch - and visits his family.Pepi wonders if he will ever come back.We learn a bit about Connal having three brothers, Evan, Harden and Donald who had just gotten married to Jo Ann. [There is a mystery in this family of Tremayns]Another HIGHLY RECOMMENDED story - Don't miss this one in the saga of the Long, Tall Texans #6 and the beginning story of the Tremaynes Of Jacobsville, Texas.

ANOTHER SEXY TEXAN HERO

Another entertaining, sexy read by Diana Palmer. I really enjoyed it, as I did "Harden" and "Evan", two of Connal's brothers. A story where something unexpected occurs and Penelope & Connal get the opportunity to explore their attraction.
