Before doing that she establishes the value of doing so by listing 12 good reasons to get organized. That list begins with "it fosters responsibility" and ends with "we deserve serene surroundings." In the book she discusses how one can turn waiting time into productive time. She mentions dreams as being revelations from the subconscious. In the section on paper three categories are given: pitch it, process it, or put it away. In advocating change, she cites a Chinese proverb, "if we do not change our direction, we are likely to end up where we are headed."
