However, the content is great. The book provides a lot of information about the inner workings of operating systems. The chapters are well laid out; in a logical progression of topics. It provides examples from many operating systems, old and new (at the time of its writing). I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the editing is a bit poor. That said, the content made it worth the read.
