A Must Read!

Opening Love's Door is a phenomenal book, perfect for anyone looking to make positive changes in their life. Dr. Diana's Seven Lessons are sure to enrich all areas of your life - it gave me valuable tools to apply to my personal life, as well as helped me find new directions in my professional life as a Social Worker/Therapist. On top of that, it is a pleasure to read! I highly recommend this book to all, and will definitely be passing it along to friends and family!

It's Going to Be A Great Valentine's Gift

I read a press release that said that this book was becoming a cult classic like the Celestine Prophecy, which is one of my favorites. I thought it was just b.s. So I got a copy and read it in order to prove them wrong. I have to admit, Opening Love's Door blew my mind. It's moving, inspirational and gets you to do what you need to do for yourself. I gave it to my girlfriend as an early Valentine's Day gift and she loves it too.

A perfect book for anyone!

Reviewed by Christina Smith for Reader Views (1/06) The author's main point is to help Janna in finding love in the romance novel, "Opening Love's Door: The Seven Lessons." Kirschner, carrying out the purpose very well, shows how you have to control all the aspects of your life in order to bring love into it. I feel that the author carried out the purpose of this book very well. The lessons that Raphaela taught to Janna can be used by anyone, whether you are 20 years old or 90 years old, male or female, professional or blue collar, millionaire or in poverty. If you want to better your life and bring the love that you have always wanted into it, then this is the book for you. The writing by Kirschner was done very well. Each lesson was clearly stated as was how to incorporate it into your daily life. One of my favorite quotes is, "Fear is the signal, the alpha point, while mastery is the omega or end point. Fear tells us where we need to look. It can uncover what we truly desire. Then it becomes a call to action and that is a spiritual gift. The very thing you're afraid of is the key to the next step of your growth." My favorite part of the book was when Janna confronts her uncle about abusing her, starting when she was ten, right after her mother's death. Janna was able to tell him exactly how she felt about what he did to her with the help of Raphaela. Through these lessons, Janna was able to face her past and move on to her future. This book was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely recommend this book to everyone. There are very few books that have touched me the way this one did. The seven lessons that Raphaela taught to Janna are amazing. She taught Janna how to confront her abuser, air out her differences with her father and comfort her best friend through her death. This spiritual journey that Janna took helped her to put her personal life into focus along with her business. Perfect book for anyone! Five Stars!!!!

A Love Story With An Eternal Message

So many wonderful things to say about this thoughtfully constructed and well-written book! How it drew me in to the life experiences and lessons that the protagonist, Janna, and how relevant I found her experiences to the issues and challenges of my life. How the spiritual teachings were so transparently woven into the flow of the storyline. How Janna developed in strength and certainty as she tackled one challenge after another. The tone and character of the story rang very true for me, as I reflect on those miracles that have occurred in my life when I have faced the demons, been honest with myself and others and been open to the Divine in whatever form it reveals itself. I resonated deeply with Janna and her personal and spiritual evolution. I look forward to following the next episodes of her wonderful journey. She is sure to become a cult classic. Much as "What The Bleep" showed America the broad support for things metaphysical in film, so Opening Love's Door will illuminate the hunger we have for things of substance in literature that bridge the emotional and the spiritual.
