Wow...what can I say for this book? I picked it up on a whim at K-Mart and it has gone on to become my favorite book of all time. As another reviewer said, I didn't know it was possible to fall in love with a fictional character...my, my Trevor Fier is quite a character indeed. Not to be too much of a reviewer, I must say the romance in this book is absolutely and utterly sublime. There is such a fire between Eleanor and Trevor that I had to read scenes again and again, just out of sheer love for the romance of this book. You couldn't ask more for to sweep you off your feet--a dashing vampire with "midnight hair that touched his shoulders." This I honor above all romance. Kudos to you RL for creating such a flawless and passionate romance between two wonderful characters...though the ending is horrid in context, it is none the more appropriate and exquisite.

One last kiss is a great book. Eleanor's father believes that her father was killed by vampires. Eleanor and her father have been running from vampires ever since. Eleanor hasn't had a chance to make friends since they move around so much. When Eleanor's father gets killed, pricilla fear invites eleanor to live with them.Trevor the prisilla's cousin met with eleanor's father before he died. Trevor lives with pricilla. Trevor has taken care of Eleanor since she moved in with him. What's the fear family secret, is trevor falling in love with eleanor?

I can't believe that I myself fall in love with a fiction character...also a vampire...his love to Eleanor was so great that at the end they have to be apart...if only the sun can feel it...at least this one was so romantic and touching...oh boy...I cannot forget about their last kiss..that was the most wonderful part of all also the saddest part of all...that's why I put a five star! one of my most favorite and unforgetable novel! maybe R.L. Stine should have let it to be a happy ending...but to those who afraid of vampire...then you have to knock your head on a rock...I don't agree with anyone who say that's a horror one or whatever...you won't feel anything only their love! I don't know why but...I love it when it had somekind of that relationship... the other seem so...real...I mean this one is really true love that he gave to her right? you should read this...or other fear street saga...but don't read the best friend...it's the most yurkiest story...I hate the ending for the "best friend".
