Kizzy is a R.E.A.D dog- which means she is a Reading Education Assistance Dog. She gives pet therapy to people who need encouragement. Kizzy visits schools to help children overcome their fear of reading. In this story, children see how one dog can make a huge different in the lives of children and older people. Williams did a lovely job of portraying the unconditional love an animal brings.

I have watched my grandchildren read to their dog. it is a fun read, educational and a joy to listen to.

Great for all Kids young and old

Just a wonderful story of how our K-9 friends can help children who are reluctant to interact with adults when learning to read. I am the COO of a national organization that works with inner city children. I am sure they would love to be able to read to a non threatening entity that always provides positive experiences and reinforcement for children.
